The dilemma many of us face. We have an idea that we know will sell but don’t have the infrastructure to, well, sell it.
When AA Stews connected with us, that was the exact challenge. This brand, an unofficial org repping American Airlines flight attendants, they had: 1) a sizable Instagram following, 2) a recognized brand, and 3) a cool T-shirt design.
But without a way to actually sell or fulfill orders quickly.
That’s were we stepped in. AA Stews not only wanted to build a brand but also give back, which made the gear a perfect fit for our Rein Respects website, which sells apparel that includes a donation to a related cause.
For phase 1 of the relationship, we crafted a plan that offered AA Stews the ecommerce platform while they crafted their own (meaning they could start selling in days rather than months), handled the shirt printing on a per-order basis, and drop-shipped all while raising money for The Wings Foundation, a charitable organization for American Airlines flight attendants.
To say it was a success would be a gross understatement. The AA Stews T quickly became a best seller, besting the original planned shirt order by nearly 33%.
Now, as AA Stews ramps up its own shop, it is able to use Rein to print the shirts in bulk with actual sales data from 6 weeks of sales to drive size selection and quantity.
